Interim – kommerciel profil?

Har du behov for en kommerciel interim leder?

Der kan være flere grunde til, at man som virksomhed ønsker og har behov for interim ledelse og management.

Jeg har arbejdet kommercielt inden for informationsteknologi, Fintech og Finansiel Services i salg og marketing orienterede organisationer. Mit fokus var og er, hvordan man leverer og optimere kunde oplevelsen og værdien set med kunde øjne, over en længere periode.

I forbindelse med ikke planlagt fragang af en kommercielt orienteret leder kan der opstå behov for akut midlertidigt, at indsætte en interim leder med få dages varsel.

Det er ikke nogen god idé, at interim udnævne en person fra den bestående organisation med mindre man er meget sikker på, at denne person skal udnævnes under alle omstændigheder. På samme måde er det ikke en god idé, at give en leder fra anden afdeling ledelsesopgaven og på samme tid forventer personen skal varetage sine normale ledelsesopgaver, med mindre man mener denne person har rigelig tid i sin kalender, i givet fald er der nogle andre udfordringer der skal ses nærmere på!

Fordele for virksomhed og organisation er udover et akut behov, at der kan komme et frisk syn som måske tænker anderledes og positivt/konstruktivt kan udfordre status quo – eller det modsatte, “don’t rock the boat”!

Det kan også være, der er behov for omrokering eller nye profiler i denne del af organisationen, opgaver som kan udføres af interim lederen, hvilket vil betyde en ren positiv start når en ny fastansat leder starter (interim lederen kan have udført nødvendige “bad-guy” opgaver).

Og en interim leder kan fokusere på opgaven og vil ikke “true” eller indgå i intern politik eller magtkampe.

There are several factors that make the interim management offering increasingly popular and cost-effective to organizations.

As an Interim Manager, I can be in place within days as opposed to months (FTE) which is essential when time constraints are paramount.

I’m unencumbered by company politics or culture, I provide a fresh perspective and can concentrate on what’s best for the business. Being an independent operator, I’m able to contribute honestly without constituting a threat to the incumbent management team.

Rather than taking on a purely advisory role (as consultant), I will as Interim Manager take responsibility for and manage a business or project in my own right. I expect to be held accountable for results and by being instrumental in an assignment’s successful delivery. I give clients the peace of mind that I has stewardship of the project in hand.

As an Interim Manager, I maintain high professional standards because my future work relies upon referrals and a successful track record. I therefore have a stake in the success of the assignments that I undertake.
